1 Pair PF-2 of Fluoride and Arsenic Reduction Elements are a post filtration elements that work in conjunction with the Black Berkey Elements to absourb between 95-99% of Fluoride and Arsenic from the water.

As these Fluoride and Arsenic Reduction Elements absourb the Flouride and Arsenic they need to be replaced more often then your Black Berkey Elements.  Under normal usage the Berkey PF-2 Elements are effective for 1,000 gallons or 3,760 liters. So it is essential to monitor how many times a day on adverage you fill your sistem and therefore how many liters are passing throught your PF-2 Elements.
 
Please also note that the PF-2 Elements will reduce the rate of flow from your Black Berkey Elements by around 20%
