How the Twin Countertop Water Filter Works The system sits beside your sink and connects to your kitchen tap. The diverter directs cold water through two filter cartridges before dispensing filtered water for drinking and cooking.
Stage 1 – Omnipure XF834 Fluoride Reduction Cartridge Made in the USA | Item code: IT001471
This dedicated fluoride filter uses adsorption media to help reduce fluoride as water passes through the cartridge.
The supplier-stated capacity is up to 1,800 litres, depending on incoming fluoride concentration and water conditions. Performance varies with water chemistry, pH, flow rate and total litres processed.
Stage 2 – Ceramic CTO Max® Water Filter Cartridge Made in the UK | Item code: IT000300
The CTO Max® combines three filtration stages:
Ceramic outer shell: helps reduce bacteria, cysts, sediment and fine particles.
Activated carbon core: helps reduce chlorine, unpleasant tastes and odours, and selected chemicals.
Ion exchange media: helps reduce heavy metals, including lead.
The cartridge has a stated 0.9 micron absolute rating and a filtration capacity of up to 5,000 litres, subject to water conditions and the recommended replacement interval.

Check Tap Compatibility Before Ordering The supplied diverter must fit your kitchen tap. Not every tap is suitable, particularly some pull-out, spray-head and non-standard designs.

Filter Replacement & Care The two cartridges have different capacities and may require replacement at different times.
Omnipure fluoride cartridge — up to 1,800 litres:
At 5 litres per day, approximately 12 months to reach its stated capacity.
At 10 litres per day, approximately 6 months to reach its stated capacity.
CTO Max® ceramic cartridge — up to 5,000 litres:
Follow the supplied 6–12 month replacement guidance, or replace sooner if its capacity is reached.
Replace each cartridge when its capacity or recommended time limit is reached, whichever comes first. Incoming water quality and fluoride concentration may require earlier replacement.
The ceramic surface can be gently cleaned according to the supplied instructions to help restore flow. Cleaning does not renew exhausted chemical filtration media.

Installation & First Use Connect the system to a compatible kitchen tap using the included diverter valve. Follow the supplied instructions for fitting, flushing and checking for leaks before drinking the filtered water.
Contaminant reduction and filter life depend on water chemistry, pH, flow rate, incoming contaminant levels, maintenance and total litres processed. Stated capacities are not a guarantee of identical performance under all water conditions.
